Independent James Hardesty announces 2010 run for U.S. Congress in North Carolina District 13
Knightdale, NC (PRWEB) April 2, 2010 -- James Hardesty formally announces his candidacy in the 2010 election for the U.S. House of Representatives. He seeks the House seat in North Carolina District 13 currently held by Brad Miller (D).
James is an independent who strongly advocates limited government and fiscal responsibility… “I am running for Congress to help restore a government that is limited, fiscally responsible, and one that does not intrude in the lives of the American people. I will promote government that reflects the values of the people of North Carolina’s 13th Congressional District.”
James Hardesty states that “Democrats and Republicans in Washington, whether in the White House or Congress, have ignored the voice of the American people and have given us a mounting national debt and ever increasing budget deficits. Both parties have given us policies that are crippling economic growth and the future competitiveness of our country. As the U.S. Representative from North Carolina’s 13th District, I will fight to reduce spending and balance the federal budget, repeal the recent overhaul health care legislation, grow the economy, and stop illegal immigration.”
